UPDATE: OpenCCCApply Infrastructure Migration Complete - Account & Apps are back online

edited July 2019 in CCCApply
At approximately 7:09PM on Saturday evening, May 6, the OpenCCCApply infrastructure maintenance was completed.

OpenCCC Account and CCCApply Standard, BOG, and International Applications are back online and students can now access all college application URLs.

Access to the CCCApply Administrator and CCC Report Center is also restored.

On behalf of the CCC Technology Center, we'd like to thank all California Community Colleges' staff and students for their patience during this process.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing the Report Center this morning.  I am getting an error that the page is unavailable.  Are any other schools having this issue?

I usually have issues when I log in with Windows IE but works fine with Chrome. Have you tried that?

    Elizabeth,
Will you send a screen shot of the error, as well as the URL you are using?  Is this everyone at your College, or just your login not working?

We are encountering the same issue both the report center and the admin center.

What is your email address Merrie?  I'd be happy to send you a screenshot and the url.  I have had a few others from my college try to access the Report Center, and they are experiencing the same issue as well.

Thanks for the recommendation Michelle.  Unfortunately, it didn't resolve the issue.

My error that is displaying doesn't sound as threatening as Joel's does.  It just says "This site cannot be reached.  Idp.msjc.edu did not respond".  The URL I use for the Report Center is:

    https://idp.msjc.edu/idp/profile/SAML2/Unsolicited/SSO?providerId=https://admin.openccc.net/shibboleth&shire=https://admin.openccc.net/Shibboleth.sso/SAML2/POST&target=https://admin.openccc.net/jasperserver-pro/

Joel,What fixed the issue for Elizabeth, was to delete the browser history, and clear the cookies then restart the browser. Will you also do that and let me know if that resolves your connection issue.

I deleted the browsing history and cookies but I am still encountering the same error.

Unfortunately, I'm also having issues with the Report Center.  I'm not receiving errors messages, but the site will kick me out after a few minutes.

Irene,What browser are you using? What College are you from? And when you say "a few minutes" how long? Also are you running a report, or do you just have the Report Center open. When it "kicks you out" what happens?

    Hi,

I am getting the same error message below when trying to access the BOG Report Center. I have tried it in Chrome, IE, and Firefox with the same result. It will let me login with my credentials but receive this message soon after.

Edgar,Your school is in the South Orange District correct? This issue was reported by your IT staff this AM, and it is being worked on.
  • edited May 2017
That is correct. I will wait to hear back from our IT department.

    Thank You

Edgar, Please try again, as the DevOPS folks just put a fix in place they believe.

Hi Merrie.  Irene from Hartnell College.  I'm using the report center to lookup individual applications.  I'm using the Application Lookup by Birthdate and I'll be able to bring up 2 maybe 3 applications, and when I enter the next DOB, the system just kicks me off line and I get bounced back to the log in screen.

Irene,  this sounds like a "ttl" or time to live connection issue.  Did this just start with the infrastructure update this weekend?

Yes.  I've never experienced this before Monday.

Ok, thank you. Have you asked your IT department if anything changed on your network?

I haven't brought it to their attention yet, but will do that now.
    Thank you Merrie.
