No applications available

Hi. It looks like almost all our applications since 4pm yesterday (2/3/23) are stuck in spam status pending state and thus are unavailable for download. Are other colleges having the same issue?

  • Hi, Just fyi, it looks like the spam filter was not running. CCCApply fixed this on Saturday, though it looks like some still end up in pending state for some amount of time. Will continue to monitor.

    This issue has been resolved, and the network services team is reprocessing all pending applications so that they will have the correct fraud_status. Michael, LACCD had 254 apps pending due to this issue and these have all been reprocessed.

    This was caused by a maintenance update that migrated CCCApply from Rancher 1.0 to Rancher 2.0. A shared service between Apply and the Spam Filter machine learning system was intermittently disconnected due to the migration. This has been fixed.

  • Thanks Jane, just confirming that no apps have been reprocessed yet and that this happened today again at noon for a few apps, which are still in pending status (for the past 2 1/2 hours). So I believe the issue has not been resolved.
