Duplicate course warnings
Duplicate course warnings can be triggered the first time you either save or submit a new course, whichever action is taken first. These warnings appear when the combination of Credit Status (CB04), TOP Code (CB03), Dept Name (CB01A) and Dept Number (CB01B) closely match that of another course associated with your college, regardless of the status of the other course. The warning is presented as a Red Error Message but its true purpose is informational, clicking the checkbox next to duplicate course found and repeating the intended action of save or submit will allow you to override the warning and proceed. If a duplicate course was indeed created delete the duplicated course and proceed with making changes in the existing course.
