International Application--College Education--Degree Type

LA Pierce College is testing the international application and found that an applicant who obtained a certificate at one of our sister colleges is not able to select the following combination of answers in the 'college_edu_level' and 'col1_degree_obtained' questions.  Below is a screenshot of the message that displays.  How would an international applicant provide this information in the application?

X = No Degree

col1_degree_obtained
C = Certificate

Patty/Merrie,
I didn't hear back from anyone about this issue while we were testing the intl app.  Now that we are in production the same issue is arising.  I have an applicant who is getting stuck using the international application in the Education section. Please see example above.  A couple of solutions would be:
1.  The values from 'college_edu_level' and 'col_degree_obtained' should match.
2.  Remove value 'C = Certificate from the 'col_degree_obtained'

I will do some investigation, and let you know.  I am fairly sure that the process for "change requests" for functionality is something that the Product Manager will need to deal with.  I will create a ZenDesk ticket to follow this issue.

Hi Olivia,

This is a known issue and there are plans to correct these errors in the next version of CCCApply 3.0. I will talk to the developers about whether we can do something to prevent the error message from displaying in the meantime...they may say it will be same amount of effort to just fix it.  I will let you know.  

Sorry for the delay. I finally took some long needed vacation time and wasn't able to respond sooner.
