    The competency maps will not be aligned to MMAP. Initially, we recommend using a disjunctive methodology to provide the placement recommendation: Behind the scenes, the system will generate both an assessment-based placement recommendation and a recommendation based on the MMAP decision trees. Whichever placement is to the student's advantage (the highest of the two), is the ultimate placement recommendation the student will receive.
