    Retest policies will be determined at the local level, and colleges may decide these requirements on their own. The Chancellor’s Office will provide some research on best practices and recommendations to guide colleges on this issue. ASCC will be coming out with a position or recommendations on retest. The policies are locally determined, but title 5 requires that the policy be clearly communicated to students, and the CCCCO recommends policies that take into account what’s best for the students.
