We are currently in the process of putting together the Request for Proposals for the writing sample, and it will be eventually integrated into the CCC Assess. The writing sample will have a default computerized scoring option available on it, but will also allow for individual colleges to human score writing samples as well. This will be a local decision, since some colleges prefer computer scoring, and others prefer human scoring. If they elect to do human scoring, they will be responsible for their hiring and staffing for these needs. SSSP funds would most likely allow for these expenses, since they directly relate to SSSP core services, but we recommend checking in with your SSSP coordinator or Chris Graillat at the Chancellor’s Office.
