GPA alone should not be used as the sole measure of assessment. It may be combined with the grades for specific coursework (e.g., grade 12 Math or English), an assessment test, non-cognitive information, or other measures to constitute multiple measures of assessment. Colleges may place students with a disjunctive, conjunctive, or compensatory use of tests and other measures of assessment, as long as multiple measures are used.
