does CCCApply support transgender reporting?

A colleague here at College of the Siskiyous is concerned about a change to MIS reporting in California.  We think we will need to report some numbers on student choices about identifying as transgender.   We are a Banner school.  We use Report Center data to help us with identifying student info like Foster Youth status.  Will CCCApply ask applicants about gender choices beyond "female, male, decline to state"?

I believe they already ask the question, but it is not a downloadable field.

Hi David, Kim is correct. That information is gathered, but is not downloadable.

I am going to discuss this with our Product Manager and will update you with more information as I get it.

Thanks.

Hello,  I was listening to an MIS webinar from the Chancellor's office and the representative stated that the transgender and sexual orientation data elements will soon be required to be reported by the schools and that the data from CCCApply would be available for schools to download.  Do you have any more details on that?

Hello Leah, I heard from Merrie Wales that the transgender data is available for download, but is only allowed access by one specific individual from each college.  Last December, that designated person was sent an email with details on how to access it.  At my college, it was the director of research.
