Configuring Job file - name prefix & suffix attributes

I'm setting-up the  cccApply download client & I'm trying to configure the job file.

At step 6 it states:  Update the prefix and suffix attributes by replacing the "mycollege-inst" and ".txt" values with the file name prefix for your choice and the file-type extension of your choice (i.e. .csv, .txt, etc.).

Question: I don't know what I should use for the name prefix and & file-type extension given a particular formatId. Is there a file where the name prefix and the file-type extension are defined? Also what is the difference between the formatIds (ccTiny, ccInst, & ccMain)?

Mark,
Have you looked at the template files that are located where the documentation lives? https://cccnext.jira.com/wiki/spaces/PD/pages/67043584/User+Guides#UserGuides-CCCApplyDownloadClient...

Merrie,

Yes, and I still don't understand what name prefix and file-type extension to use.

From looking at sample-standard-format.xml is the difference in FormatIds the level of comprehensiveness, with ccTiny being bare-bones, ccInst being in the middle, and ccMain covering all questions in cccApply?

Mark,
You are correct.  I would recommend going with the most flexible (ccMain) so that it is easier to modify for your future needs and or as fields get added to the database.
